other tips on family skiing
Find out below the best way to travel, how to stay, what to wear and dealing with ski schools.
Travel Arrangements
try to keep transfer times from the airport as short as possible
the snow train can be a fun way to travel, but take refreshments with you
don't travel by car unless the children are older, or you take many breaks

Accommodation
  chalets and apartments are best
either hire the entire chalet, or choose one marked as for families
apartments are cheaper but not as convenient. someone must still cook!
  choose a specialist family hotel

Clothing
helmets are recommended for small children
goggles should be big enough to fit over the helmet
a one-piece ski suit is the most convenient
  gloves should always be worn
wear many layers of clothing- vests, thermal pants
have access to drinks- altitude is very dehydrating

Suncream
wear suncream, even on cloudy days

Ski Schools
if you find that the instructor speaks little english, ask for your child to be moved to another class. its your right.
check the times- they may differ from your own!
some schools will organise lunch for your child- find out
