beginners
****
good friendly instructors. Gentle nursery slopes offer  good learning conditions although they can get busy at peak times. There are long easy runs to progress to.
intermediates
***
lots of choice, especially in Pal which are more interesting, extensive and varied. The Cota area offers a number of red and blue runs. Head for Pal for long red and blue runs to boost your confidence.
advanced
**
not great for experts, but there are short sharp blacks at Arisnal and long reds at Pal. There is also some off-piste skiing. Try the Pic Negre and Pic alt de la Capa for the mogul fields.
snowboarding
***
Arinsal is perfect for beginners. For the more advanced, head for the trees of Pal or the snowboard park in Arinsal.
