| A
sophisticated alpine town with a good variety of intermediate ski
terrain Kitzbuhel is a beautiful
old Austrian town with plenty of traditional charm, with heavily
buttressed buildings with beautiful architecture. There are medieval
archways, pastel-painted houses and cobbled streets.
|
| The
pedestrian only streets in the centre provide extensive aprés ski,
cafes and restaurants serving Tyrolean specialties. |

|
| There
is a large and varied ski area and plenty to do for non-skiers. The
Hahnenkamm gondola has meant that lift queues are no longer a
problem.
