| This
small alpine village has an excellent snow record, wide pistes and
few queues! Obergurgl is
situated in the spectacular Oetz Valley, Austria's highest parish,
giving the resort an excellent snow record and very long ski season.
The old, enchanting village of Obergurgl is the home of family
skiing, with picturesque scenery and luxurious ambience.
|
| Obergurgl
remains relatively unspoilt, with no through-traffic and the centre
provides traditional nightlife. |

|
| While
the ski area is not extensive, there is a wide variety of terrain.
Skiing takes place in two ski areas, linked by gondola. A large bowl
has wide blue and red runs. Advanced skiers may run out of black
runs, but there is the option of ski touring. |
