Comments:

this season has been my fourth out at soll. I love it! I find the Austrians really friendly and everyone is always up for a laugh. The whisky muhle is THE place to be but the salven stadl is no.1 for après! There's not always loads of snow but the village definitely makes up for it. The runs are most red runs but the ski welt is so extensive that there's always at least 3 different routes to take home!

a good and relativly cheap place to hire and ski.with loads of red runs on the easy side .nearby westendorf and kelshau are well worth a visit ,downside we went in middle march and it got slushy after about 11am .going this time in feb with family so not as much apres boozing .whiskey muhle was the place to be 2 years ago

well this was my first time skiing,had 3 days at 2 hrs training.which to be honest was like teaching someone how to suck eggs!!! i learnt more on my own !!!! well the resort was surperb with many easy blue/red runs altho i wimped out on a couple of them due to my lack of skill and fear of heights. I went in th en of feb,i stayed in the hotel gainsleit which was very nice cos you can ski right to ya front door snow permiting.The hotel is run by steve who is english and his wife rosy they were a real nice couple and steve (who is an excellant skier) takes you out 3 times a week if you are a confident skier,my freind who is went with steve and he did not leave you to fend for ya self on the big black runs he stopped and waited for you and boosted ya confidence no end
