| The
birthplace of modern alpine skiing, rated as one
of the world's top
ski resorts. St. Anton is at the
centre of the Arlberg Ski-Circus and is firmly established as one of
Europe's top ski resorts.
|
| Skiers and
boarders from many nationalities are drawn here each winter to enjoy
260km of piste and endless powder fields. This little town literally
buzzes with excitement. |
|
| The
ski area is simply vast, covering St Anton and neighbouring villages
of St. Christoph, Zürrs and Lech.
World Cup Downhill races are due to be staged in
St Anton in 2002.
Intermediates should be warned that here, many red
runs would be labelled black elsewhere. |
