intermediates
*****
the Galzig and Gampen areas behind St Anton are best starting points for intermediates and offer a great range of blue and red runs. for forgiving terrain try the long cruising runs of the Valluga, or for challenges try the Rendl area, on the sunny side of the valley.
advanced
*****
countless challenges on and off piste. tricky blacks, steep gullies, bump runs and fantastic off-piste. try the fearsome high mountain runs from the Valluga or the Mattun and Schindlerkar. paradise.
snowboarding
****
regarded as having the best snowboard terrain in Austria. for freeriding, check out the Kapall and Valluga. freestylers will find natural gullies and hits everywhere. go to the snowboard park at Rendl Beach where there is a pipe to play in.
