beginners
****
many wide, gentle slopes for improving confidence. easy descent back to the resort. situated close to the village centre. begin using the free lifts. as you improve, explore the gentle slopes down to St. Martin. (liftpass needed)
intermediates
*****
from steep powder terrain on the Cime de Caron to relaxed cruises down to Les Menuires and St. Martin. why not ski into the Maurienne Valley? try the sweeping blues of the Moraine and Genepi runs, the Fond 1 lift for excellent snow or the long, winding Christine.
advanced
*****
try the challenging, heavily mogulled, steep black run under the famous Cime de Caron cable car. the La Masse area of les Menuires offers a fresh challenge. Off-piste available, but a guide is needed.
snowboarding
****
a good variety of off-piste free riding. go to the fun park at the bottom of Caron sector, with its own halfpipe. there are groomed slopes to suit all levels, serviced by chairs and gondolas.
