three short but easy runs on the Plaine-Morte Glacier where good snow is guaranteed. nursery slopes near Crans are easy but susceptible to the sun. After mastering basics, try slopes of Cry d'Er and Chetseron. The village of Bluche (5mins away) has a free nursery slope lift.
intermediates

largest area of intermediate runs is in the Violettes sector with winding trails through woods. The Toula chair and drag lifts lead to steeper reds.
advanced

experts will appreciate the area of La Toula or the World Cup circuit.
snowboarding

active snowboarding area. pistes are wide enough to accommodate both skiers and snowboarders. some of the best snowboarding tuition available in the alps. plenty of well conditioned blues to develop skill on. good board park at Pas du Loup containing rails, spines and kickers.
