beginners
*
Like many purpose built resorts, Davos is not the place to learn from scratch. However, if you are, the best place is the wide Bolgen nursery slope at Jakobshorn at Platz, or at Bünda in Dorf.
intermediates
***
nearly all the marked runs are either blue or red. they are wide and some stretch for more than 10km. try the run from the Weissfluh.
advanced
***
since the mountains become steeper near the bottom, the black runs are confined to the lower slopes. the Standard Ersatz and the Unterer Standard offer considerable challenges. highly recommended is the black run from Meierhofer Talli at the top of the Parsenn, down to the hamlet of Wolfgang.
snowboarding
***
snowboarders tend to congregate at the Parsenn terrain park, with its two half-pipes.
