|
| 'Buttermilk'
and 'Snowmass' mountains are definately for beginners and families.
Both are forgiving and uncrowded, offering wide open and gentle
slopes. |
|
| there are
long cruising runs on 'Aspen Highlands', starting from the
mid-mountain 'Merry Go Round' restaurant. 'Ajax Mountain' offers a
great array of runs with spectacular views of the Rockies. Snowmass on
its own has enough varied runs to last more than the week! |
|
| fantastic
off-piste. The 'snowmass' area offers great tree skiing and loads of
off-piste, with some wicked steep chutes like the Hanging Valley
Glades and the Cirque. Ajax offers moguls and challenging
skiing. |
|
| 'Aspen
Highlands' offers great terrain. Head for Steeplechase on powder days
(get there before its tracked for the best boarding!), before checking
out Temerity and Highland Bowl. For freesyle, head for 'Snowmass
Trenchtown Snowboard Park' or at 'Buttermilk', the Crazy T'rain, the
world's largest terrain park. Its 2 miles long with a beginner &
intermediate areas, super park and 3o rails! |
